8 Weeks Post Op

Hello, I had my RNY March 24, 2015 and have been getting along without any problems. I've lost 88 lbs.total with 51 lbs. coming off before surgery. I decided after my group meeting November 6th, 204 that I would start eating like I was supposed to after my surgery and that's how I lost the 51 lbs.
I hope to gain and give a lot of help and information joining this group, especially on meal plans

It's 2 months since surgery now and I'm just a little anxious on starting raw vegetables, I haven't had any dumping or vomiting and this next step to me is a little scary.

Congratulations on such great progress!

In terms of raw vegetables, don't be too disappointed if it is rough going in the beginning. I personally had a really hard time with salad, Dukes, tomatoes until about 8 weeks ago. I am 7.5 months post op right now.

I kept trying it about once a week and now salad and raw vegetables are some of my favorite things to eat.

What problems did you have starting out with raw vegetables?

Wow great progress. I'm 5 months post op & have lost 102lbs. I have another 100 to go. I now can eat salads with no problems.

Thank you and congrats on your progress!!
