Honey is fructose vs sucrose. Both have similar caloric and carbohydrate values. I suppose honey is better because it's natural (especially raw honey) but as for losing weight both seems fairly equal

True honey does not have actual sugar in it. Honey comes from bees. Sugar come from sugar cane. However the effect of it may have the same effect on your body. I still use honey because I am allergic

So is honey a good substitute for sugar when sweetening something? I had RNY, I know too much sugar can cause dumping, is the same true for honey? I meant to ask my NUT at last appointment but forgot.
