I have a fit bit charger and like it. That being said it does have draw backs. When I do the rowing machine at the gym it doesn't pick up my distances accurately at all. Also if I hold on the handles on the treadmill it's not very accurate. It under counts which is a good thing.

I used two FitBit's over the last 3-4 years. Lost one and my dog ate the other! :D Waiting on my Apple watch to be delivered over the next two or three days. I believe it's going to be my new and permanent activity tracker.

We're also working on our own food and activity tracker apps and I'll announce further info once we're closer to launch.

I'm debating on the apple watch.

Please let me know how you like/dislike it once you receive it.

A few years ago, I used the Bodymedia fit, which I liked, but got to many questions of what's that on your arm? It got annoying. Then last year I got the Jawbone Up24. Which I liked, but after having to send it back 3 times in 5 months, I gave up. I now got the Fitbit Charge HR, which I really like. I've only had it 1.5 months but I enjoy it. I do notice the step count has been higher than the jawbone. Not sure which is more accurate. I may be exercising more, but even at work it says I walk more. I am on my feet my 10 hour shift.

I love Apple, so I thought about the watch, but I think I would break it. One of my exercises is kickboxing and hitting it on the bag may break it. Otherwise I would totally get it.

I was worried about the same thing. That's why I purchased Apple care. I've broken multiple devices and Apple was always more than happy to replace them free of charge, as long as I had AppleCare.

There's a bumper that you might be interested if you do get the Apple watch:

I love my Fitbit because you can compete with friends and I'll use my apple watch when it arrives in June.

I use my apple watch and I love it and also helps with my heart beats since it likes to go high when I eat :)
