I am scheduled for July 14th Very nervous and excited. What kind of pre op diets are your doctors prescribing. I am supposed to be on Opti-fast shakes only for 2 weeks, which I am nervous whether or not I will be able to stick with it.

I just scheduled my Gastric Bypass surgery yesterday for July 15! I am really excited but kind of overwhelmed with all of the changes that will be happening in my life after the surgery. Would love to stay in touch with others that are having their surgeries around this date so that we can all encourage each other.

Erinf- I have to be on an all clear liquids diet one week prior to surgery.

Hi i just found out today that I was approved.. Surgery scheduled for July 27th.. Was really hoping it would be sooner but just happy to finally have a set date. I'm excited and so ready .

I'm only clear liquids 1 day prior, liquids 2 weeks prior.

I'm suppose to be liquid diet -including 3protein shakes plus broth, sf jello and Popsicles-for 2weeks before and clear liquids the day before.
