What are you using to make your protein shakes?? Water?? I am using fair life milk it doubles the protein in the same amount of shakes

That makes sense lorilove and sure hope it's true.. My surgery was last Wednesday and I can't eat much at all and really have zero desire for food.. Could care less it is the strangest thing ever..

Thank you for asking.. I am doing great.. Surgery on Wednesday released on Thursday.. Have felt great just a little tired but having some issues falling asleep like I did before surgery., have zero desire for food. I am getting in my protein shakes and a lot of water.. I can definitely tell when I am full and it's right at 4 ounces.. I can also tell I am losing weight.. Excited to see how much at my post op appointment tomorrow!!

Well today is MY day... Getting ready to leave for the hospital.. So excited and scared but mostly ready.. Ready to get this journey started get through the pain days get through the liquid and purée and soft stages and get to living again.. I am the most unselfish person alive and have spent my whole life taking care of everyone but this is for ME!! Being it on!! See you in the losers side!!!

I am also at the end of my first day of pre op.. I have just 3 days of liquids with a special advanced recovery drink.. Trying to keep very busy and got a lot done today so that is great.. Starting to feel light headed and weak.. I am sure it is the decrease in calories.. But only 2 more days then on to my new life!! Cannot wait!!

You are all doing great!!! So excited to watch your progress!! I read somewhere to use the Biotene dry mouth spray and take it to the hospital.. I bough some just in case I need it.. And it sounds like I will!!

Surgery date change AGAIN!! Trying to not be too disappointed.. July 8th will be here before I know it.. Pre op appointment with doc today.. And pre op at the hospital tomorrow!!

I am SOOOO excited.. Wish it was tomorrow.... Have a big trip planned this weekend then pre op appointment with physician on Tuesday and pre op testing on Wednesday at the hospital.... Start my liquid diet on the 4th.....

They say your taste change after surgery so didn't want to get too many in a big tub and then tastes change and not like them.. Decisions decisions
