I am not a bariatric specialist or surgeon so all I can share is what I have been told/advised. When you have part of your stomach removed, nerves are damaged. It can take about 6 weeks before you

Thank you sooooooo much, I truly appreciate your feedback. I was beating myself up all night. I didn't understand why I did that to myself. I felt the guilt eating at me all night. I took a hour walk

Don't feel bad about this, BUT DON'T DO IT AGAIN! You do not want to do anything that causes a leak. It's tough right now, (trust me I'm going through it as well - 2 weeks post-op) but time will fly

Hello all,
I am 6 days post op, today was a very disappointing day for me. We had a bbq and I totally gave in. I had a little of a hot dog, some chips, a little Soup, and some cucumbers... idk what the hell happend. I felt very little discomfort, no vomiting, nausea, diarrhea. There are days that I can drink over 32 oz of Water in just one sit in. Today I sit here feeling guilty, unknown of what to do. This might sound silly, and yet over dramatic but I don't know what to feel. Any advice as to why I didn't get sick or feel discomfort, why I kept eating as if I was still hungry. Help
