I was sleeved April 9th and my surgeon closed with staples and put waterproof bandages over them. I go back this Friday to have the staples removed. A friend of mine was sleeved almost a year ago and she said that her surgeon didn't use staples, he used surgical glue and put lidocaine Patches over them and she had to wear a band around her middle. I never had to wear any kind of band. I am assuming this is just a difference in surgeon preference. I have no need for the patches, I really have not had any pain other than trapped gas. A little sore, but that's all. Just wondering what everyone else had.
