Hello fellow August sleevers!! My surgery is scheduled for August 3rd. I have one more week to eat everything on my bucket list and to drink Coke. Then I start my liquid diet and the beginning to my new healthy life! I am not going to mourn food since I'll still be able to eat my favorites-just in much smaller portions. But I'm going to embrace a new healthy lifestyle and this tool that will help me achieve it.

Now that's the right mindset especially not to mourn food

I'm scheduled for August 12 but just got letter BCBS needs clinical information to review the request. My coordinator had gave me a heads up that she sent in my info without my last clearance from the hematologist. I just received clearance 7/20. I'm praying this is all that they need.

I was told yesterday that I have a tentative surgery date of Aug 4th....it just got real for me...I have been planning and preparing making my to do list so now if my insurance company doesn't come back with any additional requirements my new life will begin Aug 4th I'm so excited and so nervous at the same time. .I think what concerns me more is the gas, as I already have issues with GERD. ......trying to keep it together but I trust God

August 4 sleeve

April 21 2015 is that when u had your surgery that was the day i had mine and to date i have lost 63 pounds

My sleeve date is August 18! Education class and presurgery testing is August 6.
