I am new to the forum, but I have seen many of your posts. I look forward to seeing more hopfully in the future. My surgery is next week on the 16th. Congrats on the cross-over! praying for your speey recovery and an eased journey! Happy for you and all the April surgeries!

My surgery was on 3/30,doing great except for pain in the left side from the surgery.

How are you doing today. I must have got your April 15 surgery date. I was shocked that I went into see Dr. Bagloo April 7th when I sat down to schedule surgery they asked if April 15th was good for me. I said yes, but I'm totally in shock that it is so soon. I'd just rather get it over with anyway, so I said yes.

I had my surgery on April 23rd at 7:30am. Of course my friend came on the 22nd which sucked since you wear a tampon. I was out of surgery around 1pm. I have been in ICU since Thursday afternoon. My doctor said I will be in here until Monday, Tuesday the latest. Monday, he is going to do the stomach test to see if everything is working properly. I won't have anything to drink or eat until Monday.

I am not sure how much I weigh now and my body is swollen from the gas that they fill your tummy before surgery and the fluids that are going into me 24/7.
