Working out

How long was it before you were able to get a good work out in?

After my gallbladder surgery I had to wait 4 weeks to get a good workout in and after both of my c sections it was about 8 weeks (bc both were horrible emergency c sections) so I'm just wondering the time frame.

My surgeon said no high-intensity exercise for four weeks. I walked for exercise for 4 weeks and 4 days and then got out my Couch to 5K program and started it and then started lifting weights yesterday (5+ weeks out).

Surgery for me was 11-4 and I wasn't released for exercise until 12-22 with the exception if walking. I walked 1 mile up and down hospital halls on day 2 post op b4 being discharged.
