Please don't worry . The people working in the o.r. And recovery have seen it all and won't even blink an eye about your period. Just let the person who gets you settled in the pre op area and does all of the pre op stuff know and they will take it from there. It is a normal course of life and it has never stopped them before.

Now for the cravings, you just have to dig in and be ready for battle. sugar free Popsicles helped me a lot and frozen Protein shakes to replace my ice cream helped. It won't take the cravings away, but you can try. Good luck with the cravings!

Same problem here I should have started monday and I just keep praying it comes already, I think the stress and pressure of everything has made me late. I have my surgery in one week, next friday morning. Fingers crossed I start with in the next day! It is nice to know im not the only one concerned about this. Ive literally been thinking about this for the two weeks!

My surgery is Tuesday and I'm on my period now. I talked with a friend who had the surgery and she started the day of her surgery. ???? I'm praying mine stops before then.

I'm having the same fears. I'm not sure what difference it will make as far as recovery and discomfort.
