Bodybugg users report here!

Hi, well, I've been reading the bodybugg reports and finally got one after not being able to lose a pound after 6 weeks. I was banded on February 13, 2007. At that time, I weighed 271.4. Six weeks ago, I weighed in at 246 and went back up to 249 due to fat loss/muscle gain. (Not complaining there) that is where I stayed until now. I wasn't depressed since I thought I was doing everything right. I was eating less and excercising more. Well, at least that is what I thought until I got the bodybugg. Pudin' was a big inspiration for that one. I've had the BB for 3 days now and I finally broke through the plateu. I'm right back to 246 with more fat loss and muscle gain. It's so exciting.

I guess I needed lapband and armband. I'm just banded everywhere. LOL!! It really is motivating to see where you are at with the numbers. Even though I was exercising my butt off, it still wasn't enough and now, I know how much more I have to exercise through the day. It's fun to see the scale going down again. Finally!!!

Anyways, I think we should log our stats for the bodybugg on here. It's really fun!!

So far, 3lb weight loss on the bodybugg/lapband from June 4-7. YEAH!!!

The bodybugg is meant to be worn on the right arm. There are sensors on the bodybugg that detect body temp and air temp and if you have it on the left arm, those sensors will be backwards. Now if you

I want a new black one - I was hoping they would give a good discount for those of us with an active one - but 189 isnt much of a discount.

i just upgraded to the new black one and now it's being offered for $139. Plus you get the 6 mos free subscription. Like the new size. It's different like where the usb is and it snaps into the strap but liking it.

Wow, thats awesome considering you get an additional 6 months -hmm, should I ask the hubbs or just get it?

Dr. marsden is Great. He's such a good ol boy. $139 is the price if you had the older model and want to upgrade (you still had to be in current subscription with older model).

There is no on/off button. you just take it off and it shuts down. new black model works with mac

o ok skinny thank for the quick reply!!!

That is exactly like the "GoWearFit" band that I have. I have been using it for about 2 months. In fact that is what the Biggest Loser people use. It is the same manufacuter Body Media but it costs more. A little more web stuff but not sure if it is worth the additional cost. Mine was 150 for the band and 7.00 per month for online support.

I just bought a body bugg and set it up tonight. I have a few questions about it... do you all wear yours 24/7? and sync it up daily?

I initially and continued to wear it 24/7 and connected it daily but after I got used to it I only connected it when the battery wore down. I never owned the watch band that showed you instantly. But after you start to learn your body you will know whether or not you did our calorie burn.

Good luck

I'm not getting the watch display either, I don't think I would ever wear it... I've been wearing mine all the time, except when I sleep. Someone mentioned not wearing it while driving, that doesn't really have an effect on the data does it?

I wore the band 24/7 including sleep time -- my band told me how efficient my sleep was and that was/is important to losing weight. If you are not resting you will not lose weight.

It doesn't really effect the data just give you a bit more.

I ordered the Bodybugg today along with the wrist display! I hope it gets here quick! I can't wait! :blushing:

I actually got an amazing deal yesterday off eBay--$176 for the v3 BodyBugg AND the digital display! It already shipped, so it should be here tomorrow or Friday.

Question though--does anyone know if I can get a trial subscription to their site or do I need to cough up $79 for the six months? God, wish they had a month to month plan so it's not such a big chunk of money at once......

You should have just bought everything from 24 Hour Fitness. Did you have to pay shipping because I ordered mine from 24 Hour Fitness and the total, including the 6 month free subscription came to 255 which is what you're going to end up paying if you're not able to get a trial subscription. The shipping was also free from 24 hr fitness

Hmmmm it's pricing out $278 plus shipping, so I still think I managed to get a deal. Mine was $176 with free shipping, guaranteed (so I can return if I need to), and only used a handful of times.

How the heck did you get such a good deal?!?
