Bodybugg users report here!

Hi, well, I've been reading the bodybugg reports and finally got one after not being able to lose a pound after 6 weeks. I was banded on February 13, 2007. At that time, I weighed 271.4. Six weeks ago, I weighed in at 246 and went back up to 249 due to fat loss/muscle gain. (Not complaining there) that is where I stayed until now. I wasn't depressed since I thought I was doing everything right. I was eating less and excercising more. Well, at least that is what I thought until I got the bodybugg. Pudin' was a big inspiration for that one. I've had the BB for 3 days now and I finally broke through the plateu. I'm right back to 246 with more fat loss and muscle gain. It's so exciting.

I guess I needed lapband and armband. I'm just banded everywhere. LOL!! It really is motivating to see where you are at with the numbers. Even though I was exercising my butt off, it still wasn't enough and now, I know how much more I have to exercise through the day. It's fun to see the scale going down again. Finally!!!

Anyways, I think we should log our stats for the bodybugg on here. It's really fun!!

So far, 3lb weight loss on the bodybugg/lapband from June 4-7. YEAH!!!

The bodybugg is meant to be worn on the right arm. There are sensors on the bodybugg that detect body temp and air temp and if you have it on the left arm, those sensors will be backwards. Now if you

I just got a combo picture of Ed Bradly and Tom Brokaw....

Then I had to reread what you wrote.

Love you guys! Man, if only Stevie Yzerman were still playing...*sigh* at least I have his signed jersey hanging outside my bedroom door courtesy of DH! SOmetimes I'll even ride the recumbant bike and watch my wings or UM on football saturdays....

I'm stuck in Houston and am missing the change of seasons back home in MI...although, its nice right now - have been waiting for DH to get back from active duty so we can go kayaking..for now, though, its just me chasing my almost 4 yo daughter and fitting in exercise when she's in school....

Go Blue!

Boy was I happy to see them win yesterday. I was a little nervous without Henne and Hart, especially at the beginning of the game, but they pulled it off nicely.

Yzerman rocks. I can't even imagine leaving Michigan for somewhere warm like Houston.

Here is visual for you J.

Oh, damn, that sucks!! LMAO I didn't end up in Houston by choice...after 10 years in the Army (last 4 in Germany and Iraq) I and my hubby (both soldiers! go figure) decided to get out and we ended up in TX b/c my mom and sister moved here...and DH got into u of Houston to do geology...if not for that I would have headed right back home to MI. (me being a UM grad and DH not finishing his degree has made him a bit selfconscious -dumbass I still LOVE you- so here we be....) Neither of us love it here, but at least my daughter is getting to know her grandma and her auntie....TX is an okay state don't anyone get offended, but for us northerners its just not like home....

And, BTW - don't let anyone tell you that drivers in Houston are good - after being in Baghdad for a year, I can tell you where all those darn Arabs learned to drive - HERE!!!! :-)

Bought a great "women's" bike, and am damn near afraid to ride it anywhere on the road due to the damn craziness...

Oh my SO will probably want to measure the differences between act A and act B to see which burns more. Got to love engineers!

I LOVE Engineers they crack me up with the "need to know"... he sounds like fun.

Kee

You and I have the same goal, to get to onederland by Christmas.

My BB is due to arrive on Friday! I can't wait!

Babygrl! You are TWO POUNDS away from ONEDERLAND!!!!!!!!!

You sure left me in the dust these past few months.

I couldn't get a grip on my eating, and I all but quit exercising. I've started getting a handle on it now, and I think a bodybugg would be just the thing to KEEP me on track. I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!

Just finished setting up... OOOhhh BB is my new bestfriend!!!

Played some salsa music for about 10min... can someone say a quick 70 calories burned :(:Banane25::)

I Love you BB....:whoo::whoo::whoo:

Thanks BabyGrl!!!

Thats right, we both will make it!!! OH Juli, your numbers are fantabulous!!! I was banded almost a year ago. Didnt do too great up till now, but thats all about to change. Especially with our new trainer whipping us into shape!!!

Uh-oh, I think I hear Trainer BB ordering me to the treadmill ponder.gif
