Soft foods

Ahhhh!!! I'm 5 days away from being able to eat! Well soft foods anyway, I am so hungry!!

What are some MUST HAVES that I need on my grocery list! recipes are nice too!

    I was a little confused by this stage - my dietitian recommended 2 weeks liquid, 2 weeks puree and 2 weeks soft food. But she suggested that tender grilled chicken, cut up small, could count as a soft food.

    Is this true? That would be wonderful as it means I have only three weeks before I can start eating real food again.

    I'm not sure I'm finishing up my 2 weeks liquids, I'm pretty sure soft foods and purée is close to the same thing. My nutritionist told me "puréed" just meant chewed really well.
