Rash?

I have a red bumpy rash on my shoulders and down my lower back. It also is not on my chest, just a few right above my cleavage.

Has anyone had issues with this? It's very itchy :( and after about a week these bumps have scabbed over.

I would go to the doctor. I have not experienced this nor have I seen anyone talk about this previously.

Could you have had an allergic reaction?

I would not think this is surgery related, but you should go to the doctor. It could be shingles, chicken pox or something

I broke out severly in a rash all over my body, it was linked back to the vitamin I was taking caused an allergic reaction of hives all over my body.

I had one from under my boobs to under my belly button starting about a week after surgery. At my 10 day check up the nurses said bumpy rash is common after surgery - it's the anesthesia and fluids working their way out of our systems :)

To MamaTo3inNH; ??? I'd question what that nurse was telling you, for SURE. It is not logical

For the original questing; are you now or were you on an antibiotic post op?? That could cause a reaction.
