I'm asking all sleevers....Has anyone's doctor suggest you wear a medical ID bracelet?

My doc didn't mention it but I have a med ID necklace anyways. It reads "Gastrectomy patient No NSAIDS No Blind NGT - C. diff Risk No Antibiotics"

My EMT friends advised no one will know what VSG means, that's why I have Gastrectomy Patient instead.

never mentioned...will not get one/want one

My doctor did not, but I already wear one. I'm planning to upgrade to include VSG info as soon as I finish figuring out how to fit everything on it! :D

Ive heard it's more for bypass patients than sleevers, bit thats just what I read. Doc never told me too. :)
