I'm asking all sleevers....Has anyone's doctor suggest you wear a medical ID bracelet?

My EMT friends advised no one will know what VSG means, that's why I have Gastrectomy Patient instead.

My doctor did not, but I already wear one. I'm planning to upgrade to include VSG info as soon as I finish figuring out how to fit everything on it! :unsure: :D

Ive heard it's more for bypass patients than sleevers, bit thats just what I read. Doc never told me too. :)
