Bone broth

I've never tried it, is it gross? Because to be honest it doesn't sound too appetizing. I picked up few small bone broth cartons from my grocery store trying to prep for post surgery. I was shocked at how much protein was in them and it was nice they came in combinations like chicken and lemongrass etc.... What's your impression of these? Good, bad, gross, or just slightly overpriced broth?

That cracked me up red. Your response totally makes since that it's basically just a new marketing term... I used to make broth at home with my mom as a kid I just never heard it called bone broth or put two and two together I suppose. Thanks!

The store bone broth is not that good, but 9g of Protein in 8 oz is pretty good. I've had it a couple times. But where I live there is a specialty food cart that makes the broth from beef. It is so much richer and yummier than any other that I've had. And although I don't know exactly how much protein is in it, it's really high, likely in the 20grams plus. I know this cause the whole thing turns to jelly when cold, which happens due to tons of collagen, basically pure protein.

But the chicken bone broth is just ok.

Sounds awesome Eli.... This place wouldn't happen to be in the Austin or San Antonio Texas area by chance would it?
