Bone broth

I've never tried it, is it gross? Because to be honest it doesn't sound too appetizing. I picked up few small bone broth cartons from my grocery store trying to prep for post surgery. I was shocked at how much protein was in them and it was nice they came in combinations like chicken and lemongrass etc.... What's your impression of these? Good, bad, gross, or just slightly overpriced broth?

I made my own bone broth, using one of the many recipes on the internet, they are all similiar anyway - such as http://wellnessmama.com/5888/how-to-make-bone-broth/

It tasted ok

Bone broth is seriously just a marketing term. It's just stock. I've been making it myself overnight in the crockpot using rotisserie chicken carcasses forever--and it's tasty and makes awesome soups!
