Some people have them. It's not very common but also not that unusual. Your doctor can prescribe something for it.

Hello, I was sleeves on December 19th and so far have done well. My only problem is what I believe to be random spasms. I noticed them at the early on. I don't get them when I eat but they tend to just come on throughout the day. They occur at the top of my stomach just below the breastbone. It feels like a tightening and then a release. I can feel when they are coming and then can hear the popping release sound. They don't hurt but can be uncomfortable. I am taking 40mg of Protonix 2x a day. I am getting nervous. It's funny, they don't feel related to my stomach at all. They feel like they are connected to my esophagus. Any ideas? My dr. Appointment is on the 28 of January.
