Help! TMI Beware

Ok so I had my surgery on Jan 7 and still have not pooped!!! I have taken miralax the last 4 days, and it am getting so nervous for when it does come ( if it ever does) I am getting 90 gr of protein, 64oz of water, and all my vitamins. The surgery was a breeze but I developed a Large hematoma that is very painful so I am still taking pain meds. What do I do???? I am normally an every day kinda girl. Is this normal, anyone have any advice?

Be careful when you take milk of magnesia! I took it and it snook up on me in my sleep, and let's say I almost had to change my sheets!

  • I've heard people using fiber gummies...

I had this problem in the beginning as well. I couldn't go for some time after my surgery as well. I talked to the doctor and they told me to continue with the miralax. It's really the best option for you. Beware of stimulants because that will cause you pain. Hope you get some relief soon!

take 4tbsp of Milk of magnesium followed by 20oz of water & relief will come within 24 hrs pain free & no diahrea effect.

Ok, more TMI. I am 5 weeks out and not necessarily having a problem having to go, it's just a nigh, are getting it out. Take 2 Colace every day and it certainly isn't softening anything g up. Any suggestions?

try 4 tbsp of Milk of magnesium followed by 20oz of water and relief will come within 24hrs no cramping.

My first water bottle of the morning I fill halfway (6oz) and put in two teaspoons of benefiber. It really helped. You will want to take some stool softeners as well so it's easier to come out. It HURTS to strain :(
