As the title says, what do I expect immediately after waking up after surgery? What will I feel in my abdomen? What will it feel like to drink liquids when I wake up? What should I expect? I'm less than a week out now..

@@JerseyJules - To be honest. I would suggest you take a break from this board for a while. I think reading these post feeds into all your worse fears toward surgery. Perhaps taking a break at least until after you speak with your doctor regarding whatever you want the next step to be might be a good idea.

So I'm a week post op tomorrow still dizzy weak... So about 59 g of protein but force myself to and about 40 of water . Any suggestions?
