It takes around 5 days to a week, so give it a little more time.

It should start going away. I found that a heating pad helped, that and walking as much as possible, Even a walk from one end of your house to the other will help. I promise, it gets better.

It went on for about a week for me. And don't always assume it's only gas, if you catch my drift!

Walking is the cure, but it will take time. My worst day was my first day home from the hospital, Day 3. You will start to feel better! Hang in there!

I had my surgery on Dec 30th also. Have been having same problems with gas issue. Seems like I'm better today than the first couple of days after surgery. I have on my grocery list to purchase Gas X. The doctor said he could help. I'm glad to here most people are saying in a week or so it gets better. I have been walking which I can feel that helps.
