3 days post op

I'm now 3 days post op. Fluids seem to be going well and the heartburn seems to be decreasing. Anyone have issues with the heartburn?

I am on 40mg of Omeprazole and have been since 4 weeks before surgery. I was told I would be on it for at least the first 6 months after surgery.

I never had any issue with heartburn or acid reflux after my surgery. Lucky I guess. My oldest daughter just had the sleeve surgery on the 8th of Dec. She is also having no issues. Not the case with my youngest daughter, who also had the sleeve surgery on the 8th. She has pressure on her chest anytime she eats something, and even when she drinks. We tried generic form of Zantac today. She is having much more success in getting in her fluids and even eating a bit. Hope she can keep up the pace using the ant-acid medicine.
