Just got home from the doctors office...had my first fill...I was so scared...it was nothing like I thought it would be....the doctor numbed the area and it didn't hurt at all....like a little bee sting....the fill didn't hurt at all...just pressure....I am so glad I have got that behind me...next time I will not be so freaked out....I drank a small little cup of Water and ate a few bites of a cracker...no problem....I go on liquids for today, mush tomorrow, and reg . foods on Saturday....

For all of those getting ready for the first fill, don't worry.....it is really not painful at all.....

My first fill wasn't that bad, but the doc did hit sirus (spelling?) fluid and it squirted out when he withdrew the needle. Surprise! At least it got rid of the hard bump in my stomach. My doc added .9cc to a 5cc band. Most of the time I don't have that much restriction, but sometimes I do. It is unpredictable. I think he wants to take it slow and easy. Better that than foaming at the mouth.

Ivonea, its not bad. I had my first fill on May 16th. I was banded april 9, 07. My experience was similar to Big as Lifes. My expectations were much worse than the actual experience. It took 4 times as long to drive to my Dr. office than to get the fill!!! Good Luck everyone!!
