I plan to ask at my first post-op appointment but, I was just wondering if anyone might possibly have an idea if I can take this??

I'm heading back to work next week and after being off for 2 weeks, I know I'm going to have a hard time going to bed at 7 pm. I have to be up by 3 am to get ready for work, and be there by 4:30.

@@Crystal88 Oh I don't know but keep us updated I love zzzquil when I can't sleep! I forgot to ask about that too.

I have never discussed it with a doctor, but I have taken it since being sleeved. Both liquid and capsule.

Elode, I enjoy it too!! I had been taking Advil PM, but was advised to stop once I had my sleeve done.

Advil pm is different. Advil is a NSAID. I'm not sure what is in it to make you sleepy, but the NSAID can't be taken after surgery. Zzz quil does not have any NSAIDs in it. It's just a antihistamine.

Liquid zzzzzquil also has alcohol in it, I would recommend just buying plain old Benadryl and taking 3 about an hour before you want to fall asleep. Much cheaper, nothing unnecessary (alcohol or sugar) and just as effective.
