So what happens when you get a denial? I don't see any reason for me to get one, but I almost feel like everything has gone too smoothly up until this point so I want to prepare myself just In case.

My surgeons office is submitting everything Monday and I'm kinda freaking out.

I was denied the first time then they re submitted and I was approved so no matter what no worries. Im 3 weeks out from surgery and im so glad its all worth it. The journey of getting approved is so stressful its actually just as difficult as the healing I think. Good Luck

I don't know but with my band I was 1st letter approval. lets see if it happens with my revision too. I feel like you I have Aetna this time. I had united with the band. Good luck

as far as my insurance goes, the only reason for a denial is improperly submitted paperwork or dieting instructions not being followed. so there aren't too many reasons you should be denied if everything is in order!
