  • Surgery was Monday the 5th! Doing really really well! I was home Tuesday evening and Wednesday went to the mall and walked with my mom for about an hour. It's cold and snowy so outside isn't an optio

  • I absolutely refuse to buy new clothes until I am sleeved. I may purchase some cozy jammy pants, maybe a couple of tank tops to wear around the house. That is it. I will waste no more money on this

I have to do a 30 day pre op diet but only two weeks have to contain liquids only. So the 16th I will be on 4 shakes a day and no carbs expect what the shakes contain which is practically nothing. Until then I thought I would slowly cut out the carbs now and not have any flour or products that have any unnatural sugar added. It is a small step but they are my weaknesses and it is better for me to deal with them now instead of when I really need to focus on eating right for my diet. it is getting real close and CAN'T WAIT! Grateful for each and everyone of you here!

I can't agree more! Baby steps count too. ;)

January 9th is my date, start my liquid diet on the 1st. cant wait to get this done.

49 years old and want to feel young again. Sick of the yoyo weight loss.

Please keep us posted on your favorites! ????

@@mkw10 Awesome to hear you are doing soooo well thats great to have an 8lbs loss already. I hope it goes as well for me as it has for you. I'm going to do 4 protein shakes a day and only lean meats at night. I start tomorrow or tech today and made myself enough chicken breast for the next couple of days so I don't have to even think about what I'm going to eat!

What shakes are you going to do???

I'm in love with GNC lean Protein shakes and since I can still have the atkins advantage ones i do the mocha latte one in the morning a chocolate one at lunch then I'm trying premier protein at night after dinner since it is 30g of protein I'm hoping that I can starve off the hungry and attempt to go to bed early. although I seem to have insomnia and sleep and hour or two and wake up. so I get hungry!

I love the gnc ones too!! Do use the powder or ready to drink? And let me know how the premier ones taste compared to gnc I have heard a lot about them but haven't been able to try them

yea I'll let you know cause if they do taste good I bought a case of them at Sams club for $20 and that is unfortunately cheaper then the lean protein but I don't do the powder I do the premix.
