2 days post op question

Hi..I had my surgery on Wednesday and all is well but I have a question, the chest pain and that painful feeling in my throat when I feel like I have to burp but nothing comes out is that all gasses?

If so, will it get better? I'm walking a lot but it happens overnight too.

Have you tried Gas X Strips ?, They work Wonders. Good Luck

Hi congrats on you're new beginning! Yes it will get better. I'm 4 days post op and it's barely going away/less frequent. Keep walking and yes but gas x strips those help so much.

the pains you are having are from gas but some of them are from the gas the doctor puts in your abdomen to enlarge his viewing area. gasx will not help this. heating pad to the painful area and walking helps. be sure to be sipping your liquids. your pouch only holds 4 to 6 oz of substance.

Thanks guys, will definitely try the heating pad and the gas strips and I'll continue waking .. Hopefully it goes away soon!! ????

Congrats on your surgery and ask someone to do karate chops on your neck and shoulders a few times a day.
