My gas pain never really started until about day 3. I still had some this morning and my surgery was on August 25. It is slowly going away. But I never had it in my chest, mine was in my shoulder.

I had a gas bubble moving around in there for about 9 days.. it was unpleasant but I got daily massages to get it worked out. Literally have someone karate chop your back if your back is sore, it bust

Did anyone experience gas pains for an extended time after surgery?...they are definitely getting better but at this point they are just nagging pains and really irritating. More so than my incisions
. I can't take my pain Med (hydrocodone) cuz it makes me dizzy as all heck.
