Finally feeling better

I would like to thank all of you who have lent me your thoughts and prayers.

On Monday I had an Upper Endoscopy and they did find a stricture and dilated. As of Wednesday this week I have started feeling better. I do still have the chronic nausea but it is not as severe by all means.

Instead of a dead dog I feel human again. I have been getting out and able to move around since I have felt better. They may still have to go back in one or two more times and I am ok with that.

I will say that I was very upset when I came out and they told me I had a stricture. Not because I had a stricture, but because I kept telling them I had a stricture and they wouldn't listen to me and just do the endoscopy. Instead I had to keep being admitted to the hospital.

I did see my surgeon yesterday, who is the Medical Director of the practice and voiced this with him.

I am at a stand still with my weight loss and I am fine with that. It is much more important for me to be healthy and feeling better. I could not eat and could barely drink and things were very bad for me. The weight loss will come.

Today I am wearing a dress I have not been able to wear in 2 years, so that is neat. I don't even like dresses but I like this dress today! =)

Thank you again everyone. I just wanted to post about something good for once!

Are you still in the hospital or will you be able to recover at home?

Yep. I am feeling so much better but I am still with the nausea, so hopefully that will go away soon. Thank you!

Glad to hear that you're feeling better. I don't like dresses either but I can't wait until I'm ready to wear a dress and look darn good in it. Take care!
