My insurance just told me that my surgery was approved! I can't believe it! My journey only started 4 weeks ago with a trip to the surgeon's office for a consult. (I have Anthem BCBS of CA). I am going to be a September sleever and I am ecstatic!!

Wow that's awesome! I have to do the 6 month PCP visits and all the prerequisites. 2 more PCP apts to go. Also saw the cardiologists on Friday, have to do stress test and echocardiogram. So will be Nov I imagine before I can be sleeved.

I received a call today 8/26/14 informing that my VSG procedure was approved on Friday 8/22/14!! the insurance rep also stated that I have approval for the RNY too!!! Now I'm waiting on the call for surgery DATE

Thank you all! My surgery date is scheduled for September 26, 2014!! I'm so excited! Now I can really clean out my closet and pack what I'm actually taking when we move!
