I have 3 days until my apt with the psycitrist. What can I expect?

@@sbake11 wondering if you have had a surgery date set yet? We are at about the same point in taking care of all of our appointments. My psyc eval is next week. One more appointment with the obesity counselor and my referral reads like it's approved for the visits and the surgery. Best Wishes!

I am anxious lol. They submitted it to insurance today! !! Ill know soon. And then I have to take a pre op class. And have 2 apts idk what they are but then I'll be a bandster!!!! I can hardly wait! !! I have yet to tell anyone about it except my husband and a few select people.

Ive been super selective in telling anyone as well. My husband, my sons, my boss, my mom, one sister, BF at work. That's it. Im going shopping today for my pre & post op needs, gearing up. I want to be ready when they give me the go word.

Yeah. I already have the shakes. I got them 2 months ago. Im not liking this waiting game. Lol its only been a day and im already ready to know. Ha. Im just way to anxious and ready for this life style change (:

Ok, so today was my visit with the psych doc. That didn't go so well. First thing they wanted was $500.00! Seriously, can we say miscommunication?

If I was there for one set of questions it would have been a different amount but for "clearance" for WLS, $500.00 in advance.

I told them never mind, I just realy don't have the support system at home anyway, I'm thinking I really need to pull this off the burner. After the staff discussed things with the doc, they took me anyway for consultation since I had a referral. (Tri-Care, my co-pay today was $25.00).

I'm definately pulling the plug on this. As I said, I just don't have the support at home and I know I can't do it alone. I face crazy amounts of sabotage at home and I just need to make peace with that and keep eating right and not visit old habits. I wish you all well

Don't give up, Karen! Forget the ppl at home & do YOU! You may be able to get clearance from another site, after all, it's your insurance that's requesting it, not the center. Call your insurance and ask for a list of docs and start calling them... Keep fighting!!!
