So insurance denied my surgery saying its not a covered benefit! When it is.. ugh.. well let the appealing begin! Such bull.

Ty. Im trying really hard not to get discouraged. Ive had my mind set on it for a long time. If all else fails I have medicade so I have another shot. Ill just have to do 3 more apts with the dietician. Im praying it happens.. its getting me super depressed.

I have 3 days until my apt with the psycitrist. What can I expect?

I have people takingg care of it. It isnt the employer. Tricare is military and I called before I even got started and they told me its for sure covered and if I met all criteria I'd be able to get approved.

I have tricare and I'm not going to Mexico lol I cant afford all that. Its being appealed. It should go through!

Im private. I herd to many of my friends and family say it's the easy way out. But they don't understand. It's not going to fall off on its own it still takes work. But id rather just keep it hush and if someone asks how I'm losing weight ill just say hard work and dedication! !! Because that's what it's going to take. I haven't been banded yet. Yeah. I already have the shakes. I got them 2 months ago. Im not liking this waiting game. Lol its only been a day and im already ready to know. Ha. Im just way to anxious and ready for this life style change (:

I am anxious lol. They submitted it to insurance today! !! Ill know soon. And then I have to take a pre op class. And have 2 apts idk what they are but then I'll be a bandster!!!! I can hardly wait! !! I have yet to tell anyone about it except my husband and a few select people.

Yeah it was long and boring really. He just asked me personal questions about my childhood and adulthood life and typed it all out. And let me go. When I left he told me good luck with my band (: one more apt to go then just habe to wait for insurance to approve. And that apt is on thursday of nxt week ((:

OK ty ladies so much(: and yes I am closer and I'm so happy. I'm positive my insurance will approve. My office said they never have problems with my insurance (: and I got a letter saying they are covering all my visits and will cover surgery if I take the steps I'm supposed to ((: I still have to see the excersice person and one more dietician apt. Then that's it. And I'll have them all taken care or within a week so after that (: I'm more than excited!

I have to lose this weight before surgery and I can't seem to get it off... I have my last apt before they submit to insurance on the 2nd of August and I'm so scared. I have tried everything. I recently even started a job. It's night shift cleaning. And when I come home I'm starving so I'm eating then going to sleep which isn't good at all.. Any suggestions?

I'm thinking about going ahead and trying the liquid diet for pre op. I have the shake mix already and I can just buy more. It'd be worth it if I can lose the weight.

Also can you use milk with your pre op shakes?

So the doctors office just called!!! The moved my psyc apt to August 2nd. So my surgery (if approved) will be sooner than I thought! !! Heck yes!!! Best news ever (:
