Biotin question...how much do you take?

I bought 2500 mcg...I didn't feel comfortable starting out at 5000 mcg or 10,000 mcg

You take one a day. I started at 5000mg.

  • There is 300mg in my multivitamin. I never took any extra. No hair loss at 7 months out, but I always got in all my protein.

Kindle, that is one of my prayers!

Fingers crossed for you. I'm not saying to Not take it, I just think the hairloss thing is kind of a crapshoot. It's gonna happen or not. But good nutrition can only help, so you might as well take the biotin along with your other vitamins and protein.

I take a chewable 5,000 mg Biotin dailey. My primary care doctor told me to take this about 4 years ago.
