VSG booked 18th September 2014

Hello everyone, today I had my appointment with my surgeon again and my date has set 18th September...

Today I was soooo nervous that I made myself sick, my surgeon is awesome. So I should not be but it's exciting and nerve racking all in one..

So I am happy I have a date and it's all starting to happen.

I do have a few questions though..

I have to have a endoscopy 2 days prior to basically check everything out.. Is this normal??? I mean there is no extra cost but just wondering more about it. As in why and not what the procedure is.

I also have to have injections of Clexane, someone may have spoken about this and I missed it? What's that for??

You know how you walk out and then think of a million questions I should of asked that is two I have ..

Thanks in advance

57 days and counting!!!!!!

So excited for you!! I had mine done on the 14th.. My surgeon did a endoscopy just to make sure I didn't have any ulcers or hernias. I did have a hernia, he fixed it during my surgery.. Everything has been good so far, just a little gas pressure.. Good luck!!

Good Luck.
