leg fell asleep!

Has this happened to anyone? I had to sit on a bench today for a while and when I stood up I couldn't feel my foot! My whole leg was asleep. I can't remember if I had my legs crossed?

This hasn't happened to me in maybe fifteen years. Is that a coincidence or is it because I have less cushion in the back so the nerves get compressed on a hard surface? It was kind of scary!

It only happens to me when I tuck a leg under me and I'm placing too much weight on one leg.
