I went to the gas station this morning and ran into my neighbor. I started talking to him and he was being very cautious and kinda stand offish. So I kept it short, thought maybe he was in a hurry. So as he was going out the door I invites to a Fourth of July party at our house. He looks at me all weird and goes "jess" and I said yes. He's like omg I didn't know it was you. I guess his wife mentioned to him that she thought Ryan (my husband) had a new girlfriend or had gotten remarried. They had no clue it was still me. I guess it's a great compliment but I wonder how many other people think my husband is remarried lol

I think about 2 years ago the same thing happened to me. I have lived in the neighborhood 7 years, and the man who this is about moved int he same time. We had been living 2 doors down and all of a sudden he needed to introduce himself to me, again! I wasn't sure if it was alzheimer's, I guess it was just the change in my appearance!
