1 week post RNY

Am one week post RNY, last night I started with a stitch/cramp in my left hand side. I was pretty uncomfortable all night. I woke up this morning felt great. And now it's back, omg if I hiccup it's horrible. Any thoughts?

what precipitated the cramping? Eat too fast? overexertion (excessive walking)?

Nothing I can pinpoint. I'm not walking more, yet. Hadn't over eaten. Maybe I drank too fast? Tonight after taking my nighttime meds as usual, nothing different my tummy/pouch was burning. I was able to calm down and then laid down for a little while and seems ok.

I will try that

It could also be gas. I find that when I eat SF popsicles or anything that contain sugar alcohols, a couple hours later I have horrible bloating/cramping/gas pain. Excessive gas can create a lot of pressure buildup in your stomach and intestines. Hope you feel better!

Hi add a heating pad to the side you should feel and sleep better.
