DAMN!

So my husband ordered pizza for the family tonight & guess who got cocky enough to take a bite of my husbands slice? Yep, me.

Ps... I'm writing this from the bathroom floor, bc I've been vomiting for 20 minutes.

Just out of curiosity, how far out r u? I can safely eat about 1/2 pc of pizza (with crust, mind u) at about 10 mths out. Didn't try it for about the first 4 mths however.

Give it a while (if u don't remember this with pain everytime u think about it, at least) then retry it. I say that goes for most foods u can't tolerate in the beginning. Not sure why some of us can tolerate most things and some can't. I feel lucky that I can eat everything (not that I should eat it, it's just nice to not be sick from anything)

Good luck and feel better!

@@marfar7 I'm 6 weeks post op. I thought since I was tolerating meats, that a couple bites of pizza wld be o.k. Boy was I WRONG!

I'm almost 3 months out. When I just have to have pizza, I eat the toppings only. Didn't try it until 2-1/2 months. Figured it would be fine since I eat melted cheese w/ tomato sauce and cottage cheese as a snack anyways. It will be an every once in a while thing for me but I'm very pleased that I get full off the toppings of one slice.
