If I know I'm self pay, what is the average amount of time between the first consult meeting and the surgery? Just trying to get a realistic expecation of when the surgery could take place. Thanks!

I'm self pay and it took me one week to do all of the testing, blood work, egd, ect and I got my date once I passed the cardiologist part. I have a surgery date of June 3. So I am presently on my pre-op liquid diet.

About two months

I am self pay and had my first appt with my surgeon the third week of April. I am scheduled for surgery June 9th. I would have gone quicker but I had some timing issues with scheduling preop stuff because of my work schedule.

Met with surgeon on June 6th. Surgery scheduled for June 30th. YAY!

I'm June 30 as well. Met with surgeon on May 22. Could have done it early June but work conflicts prevailed. So ready!
