I'm scheduled for my sleeve surgery on June 4th and am looking for other June sleevers to connect with. I just joined this app yesterday, so I'm a little green. It was recommended to me by someone who had the sleeve procedure a year ago. She said connecting with other people who were having the same procedure in the same month was really helpful to her, so I'm hoping to find some other people like me who are looking for help and support as we begin our new journey. Thanks BLAKQUEEN! It's nice to meet you as well. I will definitely check out the various pre-op topics. I will start my 2 week liquid diet on Thursday this week. I think I'll do okay on the liquid diet as long as I can find some protein powders that taste good once mixed with milk or water. Have you found a brand or flavor you enjoy? I'm open for suggestions.

I love all of the "lists" and information on this site! Sweet Baby, I've been using Premier Protein shakes. They are pricey but very good. If you happen to be a costco member, they are on sale now. They're great for after surgery as well... 30g of protein. Hope this helps!

@@Sweet Baby,my doctor has me doing slim fast, muscle milk lite, or Atkins for my two week liquid diet. I like GNC brand whey protein and Unjury protein. You have to shop around find one you like, try samples first. Unjury and Nectar have sample packs that you can order. Syntrax Nectar is a fruit based whey protein. There ate others feel free to ask me or others about them. I also order a book from Nikki Massie called The Bariatric Foodie Guide to Perfect Protein shakes, she also has a blog with some of her recipes on it-Bariatric Foodie. Feel free to contact me or others for help. Good luck

Thanks LovetoDive! We don't have a Costco, but we do have a Sam's Club, so I'll check there to see if they carry the Premier Protein shakes. I appreciate the feedback.
