Today I got my date! I will be getting my sleeve on Monday June 2nd. I am so glad they had a date that wasn't too far away. It's actually in just a few short weeks! I was waiting for a few days and I thank god that I am now scheduled and ready to go. I'm excited. So, who else has their surgery on June 2nd?

Oh sweet ! I'm in Michigan too but over on the East Side. My surgery is with Dr.Kole at St.Johns Providence Oakland. We're on about 2 weeks away, so exciting! Good luck to you as well

Exciting news! I am kind of in limbo because I haven't heard my surgery date yet.

How is everyone doing so far?! I am hoping all went well with everyones surgeries and that your recoveries are speeding along!

I'm just now starting to feel a bit more normalcy

I can eat more different foods

Drinking without any problems

Walking a ton

And losing weight

There will be a moment...or several where you question the decision you have made

But it will I repeat it WILL get better and easier

And you will realize you made the right decision

That's wonderful!!!! Congratulations so far. The first few days when I was in pain I questioned my decision but it really does get better every day. Thank you for sharing your experience and for your positive words! I hope all continues to go well
