I had the sleeve surgery on May 14th, two days ago. I am feeling hungry, which is surprising because I thought the ghrellin hormone was removed and the hunger would not be so bad. I felt hungry almost immediately. I'm not able to eat much which is good, but I am worried that my appetite will be a problem. Anyone else feel this way too?

I have heard that gas right out of surgery can mimic hunger pangs. Try some Gas-X and see if that helps. I was not hungry for a couple of weeks, but I know others have felt what you are experiencing too. good luck!

I've read that it takes a few days to get the gherlin out of your system.
