I did but i just kept sitting there i kind of had to force it out even though it hurt my stomach a little. Keep trying or they'll cath. you good luck!

Sometimes it takes the anesthesia a little longer to wear off sounds like your bladder hasn't gotten the memo. Run some water and sit there you'll be able to go.

I have the same problem to just took multiple tries but I did find sitting there trying to push it out maybe her tummy. 30 minutes before they said that Cath me I finally tinkled a little in the excepted it.

Yeah, the catheter can cause your urethra and bladder muscles to become lazy, so its pretty common. That's why they want it out of you as soon as possible.

You might also find when you go home that you have a weak pee stream for a few weeks. This is totally normal too and fairly common. Just wanted to let you know so you're not surprised by it. :)

I had the same problem. I never felt like I had to pee during my hospital stay.. I never really ever even thought about it, so I would have to make it a point to remember to go. When I did, it would take forever for anything to happen.. and then when it finally did, it was soo slow! Oh my god, it literally felt like it took forever.. I'd say at least 10 minutes. By day 2, it was a little better and then day 3 it was back to normal again.

Yes I had this. They had to give me catheter of some kind. Basically just released the urine. Next morning I was fine but hated that feeling. Not the catheter part but not being able to pee by yourself.
