The bubble guts

Good morning you wonderful people! I had my surgery May 7, and I want to know did anyone experience the runs after returning home? I know it's tmi, but I haven't stopped going since I came home! Is anyone else going through this?

that is totally normal. I think I was like 2 weeks like that. I remember the first few days were really bad. Until you start eating solid food down the road things will get better. Hang in there and congrates!!

Thank you so much for that, I was worrying a lil bit! Besides that I feel good! I'm happy I did it!

Make sure you get your Water in. You don't want to get dehydrated ( forgot to tell you ). ^_^

I am 4 weeks and a few days post op and I eat solid food, I have been getting the bubble guts almost everyday.......OMG, I wish it wasn't me!! Some mornings I can drink my protein shake and be just fine and then some mornings I drink my shake and a hr later I gotta use it bad.....I don't know what triggers it cause even with food, it happens..Im hoping and praying that my body has just got to get used to it and it stops soon....I take wipes, panties and extra clothes with me everyday in a overnight bag just in case, because I do not want an accident. Good luck

Some people become lactose intolerant after surgery. Maybe try switching your Protein Shake?

Remember if you are only taking in liquids you are only going to put out liquids.

I'm 12 days post op and I have the same problem. My husband just asked me today....you're going again? I haven't noticed any particular foods causing it but I am eating/drinking lots of milk products. The first few days were explosive but I feel like I can semi control it now....hold it long enough to get to a bathroom. ;-) it did get better when I started eating puréeds.

I did not drink milk for about 4 months after my surgery and if up to my doctor and nut, still would not. Anytime i drink milk or eat any kink of milk products i have to go really bad and end up with lots of gas. I love my yogurt and won't give that up even though it causes gas and bloating. Maybe back off the milk and see if that helps. Good luck.

I use the silk vanilla and mix it with the shakes, it's good and it doesn't send me! That's kinda getting in more protein, because the milk is protein based! Good luck

Are you getting your liquids in?

I was also sleeved on the 7th. I went on the 9th and again today. I am having no pain just slight discomfort on my left. I'm feeling great.
