3 months out

It was 3 months on Thursday since my surgery. I am now down 78 lbs!

Everyone is different, but I have had no stalls or setbacks.

I don't follow all the rules. Yes, I've had alcohol, yes, I drink carbonated drinks, yes, I drink caffiene daily. I'm not saying tjis is the right way to do it, this is just the way I've done it. Yes, I drink with my meals.

It's real simple, I just can't eat or drink as much of anything as I used to. I walk a couple miles a couple days a week, but other than that, I just try to live as normal as possible

Cheers! Whatever works. I agree our bodies are different and so long as we get there we can do separate paths. Proud for you! My husband is down 65 lbs since surgery in December.

Thats great 78 pounds. Everyone is not a text book. U gotta find what works for u and what u can tolerate to b successful for u. Congrats your doing amazing

you are so lucky!!! you must be having a good metabolism.I am also almost 3 months...but slow weight loss...I am slow in my movement due to arthritis...cant walk much..so that makes a difference.

congratulations!!

Everyone that makes this choice to lose weight and become healthier is already a winner. The good thing it's not really a race, it's a life style and we are only in competition with ourselves. I applaud those that lose quickly as well as those who lose slowly... we're all losing. I do get jealous that men lose faster but it all has to do with muscle mass and how differently our bodies are made. I've not been 100 per cent compliant but I don't drink with meals, I don't use a straw and I don't drink caffeine or carbonated beverages. I have indulged in a little bread and Pasta but for the most part... it's Protein and veggies. I have a whole new set of normals now.

i agree with you 1 day 1 life...its a change for a life time. we are here to get healthier....I am so cheerful now, no scitica pain,No bp,face is looking better, looking much slimmer....eating Proteins ,Water,veggies...

I do feel good about all these things.

all the best.
