I gained 3lbs since Monday. WTF?

Recommended Posts

I'm so upset, and I just need to vent. I gained 3lbs since Monday. What's up with that? My eating has been good, about 850-900 cal a day, and while I'm struggling with getting in my Water, I've gotten better. I went to boot camp Monday and earlier this morning. It's not that time of the month. I'm doing well with watching my sodium. I just don't get it. On Monday when I weighed in, I had only lost one pound since last week, and that was disappointing enough, but now this? I feel like crying.

*sigh*

Thanks for "listening"

I am so with you on the weight gain! I am beyond frustrated, the scale almost went flying out the window this morning. I think mine is from my evil period coming up..but I am joining curves this week and I hope that works.

I am having the same problem I was doing so good and now the last 2 weeks I gained 2 pounds back :( very frustrating but I think my problem is I was starting to snack on Protein Bars throughout the day. I feel like I am slipping back into old habits...not good.

PUT THE scale AWAY....

weigh yourself the same time and day once a week.... your body fluctuates all the time, don't be frustrated...you are still new, your body is re-adjusting itself... it will come off, just follow your guidelines...

Good luck... you've GOT THIS!

So frustrating Ladies.....one word of advice to Denise.....water, Water, water....if you are exercising and not getting the minimum of 64oz of water....the scale will be cruel...it seems strange but its 100% true that flushing your body with Water will flush out the excess water from exercise and you will see the scale respond....I had to remind myself of this simple truth as well....its so hard when you are working out and don't see it on the scale...more water....is your best friend.....trust me....;-)

Good Luck Ladies...we can do this!

Shel

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
