Raw Diet an Option?

Has anyone considered a raw vegan diet after surgery? I am a vegetarian and have been for many years and have thought about this recently. It seems it would be easy to transition into this after surgery. Any opinions on this?

I think you would have to put some research into that. I am almost 4 months out and still have problems with raw veggies, salad, or whatever.

As long as you have some type of protein you should be fine, eventually...but yes, vegetables bothered me in the beginning as well... especially broccoli and any form of lettuce :(
