Good Luck! You'll do great. The forum is great but listen to the medical team you're using to educate you in your prep and recovery.

My sleeve surgery was my first surgery too. I was also nervous. But for me, everything went so smooth I laugh at myself for being nervous about it.

I am also getting my sleeve surgery done on Tuesday. Not as nervous as I thought I would be, was concerned about possibly having a drain put in but talked to surgeon yesterday and he said nope, just the 5 incisions. Doing it 100miles from home so he's keeping me three nights instead of two to make sure the ride home is more comfortable, said if I had nausea it should be better with the additional day. Good luck Cathy and ArixS. No need to be nervous. These doctors know what they are doing and you will be in good hands. The surgery takes 30 to 45 minutes and its over. Granted that first week is a bugger but after that its smooth sailing. You will soon be steadily losing and looking good.
