OK... I'm super excited. I sent in all my paperwork on Friday. My patient navigator was on vacation until today. She submitted my paperwork at 10:30 today and called me at 11:45 am and tells me I was approved by BCBS. Now I'm waiting to schedule everything. Did not realize it would go this smooth. I was terrified at first but now I feel like this is all God's plan. Yay me!!

Wonderful!! I hear BCBS is a lot smoother to deal with than most other insurance companies. AETNA made me resubmit three times! and they still had a coverage cap! GO YOU! good luck with everything

I hope my days is in March. Hoping for the 24 as well!!!

No I did not. Just needed to see Nut, letter of recommendation and Psychiatrist.

Oh good Tiffany4fit - we can keep each other company. It seems like it will be forever, however - everyone says it flies by fast. Plus, we can learn all the tips like chewing slowly, drinking without a straw, eating protein first, and then we'll be set when the surgery gets here. I'm creating a monthly task plan to not get so anxious. It's difficult, but I am excited! Congrats everyone else on your surgery dates! I can't wait to post mine!

Hi Daria, My is also BCBS NJ, and I was approved in less than 2 weeks, thanks God! by the way my surgery is also 3/26
